Welcome to the newbie guide!

There will be a few handy links, explanations, and other tips in here!

Welcome! You have probably signed up by now (if not, and you need help, message goodusernam@gmail.com for help on that)

You have probably seen my (and maybe some other member's) profile pictures, signatures, and profile by now. You can make one yourself in Photoshop, GIMP or any editing program, or ask someone to make one for you in the Art Corner! If you need a detailed explanation on adding a profile picture and a signature, PM me please :3

Your profile. Now that you have set up your profile picture and signature, it's time to work on your cat's profile! You can do so by clicking on the "Profile" button, and then on "Edit Profile" in the right corner. Then, the "Avatar" tab will open. You can add in a profile picture there. There are more tabs above it, click the "Personal". You can add your signature there if you want to, but we came here to work on your profile. Scroll down until you see the "Tom or She-Cat" question. There are more things you can fill in about your cat there. Please fill in the: Gender, age, rank, and Clan (once you have one). The rest is optional.

Signing up for a Clan, or group!
This is the last step before you can make your first RP post! You go to the Clans tab, and pick the Clan you want to join. Read the first post in there, as that includes the form, some information about the Clan, and maybe some requirements, or groups of cats that aren't allowed there anymore. Copy and paste the form, and fill it in, be patient, and one of the moderators or administrators will add you to the Clan! You can start RPing once your name is colored in the color of your Clan.

Your first RP post!
If you're new to RPing, you might want to check out this board: RP Help you can practice your roleplaying skills there, and more experienced RPers will be there to help you

Your first post!
You can join any post you want, but there are a few things you should pay attention to:
Only cats that belong to a Clan can RP in their camp, so if you belong to WindClan, you do not join a ThunderClan Camp RP.
If a title includes (& "Name of a cat") it means to topic is CLOSED and can only be used by that certain cat.
If a title includes (1st "Name of a cat") it means that that cat will reply to that topic before anyone, and other people can join after they have replied.
Any other topic is free for everyone to join!
Now, how do you even FIND someone to RP with? One option is to join someone's topic (make sure to read all the posts that were written in it!). You can also make your own open topic. Another way is to PM someone that's online and ask them to do a topic with you.
